The children that attend the same school as George and Harold who were introduced in the animated series and movie. Harold's parents got divorced when he was 5 years old. ((DISCONTINUED, I HATE THIS THING)) George and Harold are two 4th graders who have been best.Despite being in all the books he was not seen in Mothering Heights.When Harold was older he is shown to have a husband named Billy, making him the only LGBTQ+ character in the book series.He is the illustrator for all of his comic books.He lives with his mom and sister at 1520 Vine St.He is described as "The one on the right with the t-shirt and the bad haircut.".His favorite "food" is gum, despite gum not being an actual food.He is named after Harold and the Purple Crayon.He is based on Dav Pilkey, the creator of Captain Underpants.George and Harold go on to make lots of comics. ![]() They scare the bullies so badly that they stop bullying and are changed forever. Together they prank Kipper, getting him to believe in the ghost of Wedgie Magee. When school ends they walk back to George's house. Harold asks George if he would like to draw but George tells him he is not good at drawing, but he can write stories. Harold tells George that its just a picture, not a story. In the detention room, George sees Harold's drawing and asks him the name of the superhero in his picture. Krupp found them and took them to his detention room. George came by on his skateboard and saved Harold Hutchins. One day while he was being beaten up at a gas station by Kipper Krupp. Harold was bullied at school by Kipper Krupp, the nephew of Principal Benjamin Krupp. When Harold was 6, he loved to draw pictures but he didn't talk very much, mainly because of his parents divorce and his father's abandonment, which was an experience which was most likely Petey's Father leaving Petey was based off of. Harold does illustrations for the comics he and George make. He is best friends with George Beard, and is a protagonist of the Captain Underpants series.
